Neighbor Night Out being held in Forsyth Township

GWINN, MI--   Forsyth Township is hosting this year’s Neighbor Night Out in Marquette County.

Township Emergency Services and the Forsyth Senior Center are hosting the event, which takes place Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at Nordeen Park. Food trucks from around the county will be on hand, along with free ice cream for the kids. A dunk tank and bouncy house will also be on site.

Township Police say Neighbor Night Out is an opportunity for the public to interact with their first responders to foster positive relationships and keep neighborhoods safe.

The event occurs the first week in August at various locations in Marquette County.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
