Marquette, MI - The ‘Alzheimer’s Association—Greater Michigan Chapter’ is hosting its 19th-annual Upper Peninsula fall conference next Thursday.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Margaret P. Calkins… an international leader in the field of environments for the elderly—especially those living with dementia. The conference will also feature sessions on ‘dementia and driving,’ the ‘caregiver perspective,’ and ‘elder abuse prevention and advocacy.’
The conference will be held Thursday with registration beginning at 8 a-m in the ‘Great Lakes Rooms’ of NMU’s University Center. For more information, call 228-3910.
