MARQUETTE, MI-- After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Tuesday is meant to give a little back.
On Giving Tuesday many corporations will match donations to non-profit organizations.
In Marquette, Messiah Lutheran Church is raising funds for its Community Assistance Fund. Every dollar given will be matched by Thrivent Financial from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
And those who give to the U.P. Children’s Museum through its Facebook page can also help make a difference. Donations will be matched by the Gates Foundation.
Call your local non-profit agency to see if it’s participating in a Giving Tuesday event.
