LANSING, MI-- Private non-profit organizations damaged by June flooding have until October 1 to apply for loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
PNPs in Gogebic, Houghton, and Menominee counties may apply for money to fix physical damages caused by severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides from June 16 to the 18.
PNPSs that do not provide critical services of a governmental nature may be eligible. Examples of such organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools, and colleges.
The SBA says economic injury disaster loans are available regardless of whether the organization suffered physical property damage.
