PHF to match Giving Tuesday donations

HANCOCK, MI--   The Portage Health Foundation is using “Giving Tuesday” to help out non-profits in the area.

“Black Friday” follows Thanksgiving, then “Cyber Monday.” PHF says it will match—dollar for dollar—all funds raised on giving Tuesday, up to $100,000. All monies will be passed on to the designated organization.

The Foundation is calling the event “Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is.”

PHF will accept donations that come in before November 27, but is encouraging those who want to give to wait until Giving Tuesday. Donations submitted after November 27 will not be eligible for the match.
