ESCANABA, MI-- A water main has broken in Escanaba.
City officials say it’s near the intersection of 13th Avenue South and South 13th Street.
Water service in the area of Veterans Park will be shut off at 12:15 p.m. for a couple of hours. Water plant personnel are going door to door to notify the individual houses that will be affected.
Residents are asked to allow crews to flush city mains before using any water in their homes. The flushing is expected to last until approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday.
