New bridge walk video explains Labor Day event

ST. IGNACE, MI--   The Mackinac Bridge Authority has released an updated video explaining this year’s options for the Mackinac Bridge Walk.

The video explains the bridge walk schedule and the choices people will have whether they start from the north or south end of the bridge. Officials say last year’s Labor Day walk went so smoothly they decided to continue the changes for this year’s walk.

As the video shows, participants will have three main options. They can start from either end of the bridge, walk to the midpoint and turn around to end at the city they started from; walk the entire length of the bridge beginning at either end; or cross the entire bridge, turn around, and walk back.
