HOUGHTON, MI--   An Alzheimer’s patient who was missing for more than 24 hours has been found safe in Houghton.

City Police say 82-year-old Eva Vencato left her house on Sugar Maple Lane Saturday around 1 p.m. and didn’t return. She was wearing a pajama shirt, blue jeans and moccasins.

On Sunday residents of Houghton and surrounding areas were asked to search their property and vehicles for Vencato.
