MARQUETTE, MI-- Upper Peninsula Power Company says its recreational sites are opening up and will remain open through the summer.
Officials say once the snow has melted residents can use UPPCO’s boat ramps, day-use areas and fishing areas, but no overnight parking is permitted. In alignment with the governor’s executive orders the Bond Falls, Prickett and Boney Falls campgrounds will remain closed through early summer.
Outdoor enthusiasts are reminded to stay at least six feet away from others using public recreation areas.
