Highway work begins in Baraga County Tuesday

BARAGA COUNTY, MI--   The Michigan Department of Transportation starts work on a section of US-41 in Baraga County Tuesday.

About 4.5 miles of the highway from Pine Street in Three Lakes to east of Tioga Creek will be rebuilt. Work includes rebuilding asphalt pavement, an aggregate grade lift, installing concrete curbs and gutters, culverts, and drainage, guardrail repairs and pavement markings.

Officials estimate the project will be completed in September.
