Fish, ride and go to MI parks for free this weekend

LANSING, MI--   You can enjoy “Three Free” in Michigan this weekend.

Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, the Department of Natural Resources is letting residents and out-of-state visitors fish, ride off-road trails, and visit state parks for free.

During free fishing weekend anglers don’t need a license, but all other fishing regulations apply. No ORV license or trail permits are required on free ORV weekend. And the DNR is waiving the regular Recreation Passport entry fee that grants vehicle access to Michigan’s 103 state parks and 1,300 state-managed boating access sites.
