SAULT STE. MARIE, MI— A Traverse City man will spend up to 40 years in prison for selling meth in the Kinross area.
Chippewa County Prosecutor Rob Stratton says Kenneth Mathes, Jr., 37, was sentenced this week on one count of delivery of meth and two counts of conspiracy to deliver meth. Mathes also had a drug double enhancement which doubled the statutory maximum to 40 years.
A jury found him guilty on all three counts in October.
Mathes’ codefendant, Sarah Harrison, was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison in November.
