Ozark Radio News

Marquette, MI - Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run on County Road 553 near Marquette Mountain.

Late Monday afternoon, a southbound dark grey Buick Encore, driven by a 63-year old Gwinn woman, was attempting to pass a silver car of unknown make and model south of Marquette Mountain. The silver car swerved and collided with the Buick causing it to lose control and strike a guardrail. The silver car continued southbound and has not been located or identified. Deputies did not report any injuries in the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the driver of the silver car is asked to contact the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 906-225-8441
