Two Vehicle Crash Temporarily Shuts Down US-2

Schoolcraft County, MI – State Police from the Manistique post are investigating a two-vehicle crash that temporarily closed down US-2 in Doyle Township. All lanes of US-2 were reopened a short time later.

The crash happened yesterday (Tuesday) at about 4:30pm when a pickup truck failed to yield to a semi-truck pulling a trailer eastbound on US-2 near County Road 432. No life-threatening injuries were reported. A small spill of fuel from the crash was contained and cleaned up.

The incident is still under investigation.
