L'ANSE, MI-- Class is canceled Tuesday for L’Anse Area Schools and Sacred Heart School due to a water main break.
The line broke Monday afternoon at Waterfront Park as workers replaced a hydrant. As a result city officials have issued a water boil advisory. All residents should boil their water for at least five minutes before drinking it or cooking with it until further notice.
Officials hope to have the water main fixed by Tuesday afternoon.
