MARQUETTE, MI-- The Marquette Police Department says a 14-year-old girl is injured, following a school bus accident in the city.
The accident happened around 7:10 Monday morning at the intersection of College Avenue and Eighth Street.
The bus was westbound on College when the girl crossed the street into its path. The school bus could not avoid striking the victim, who was taken to Marquette General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
