MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Marquette man has been injured in a single-vehicle accident in Marquette Township.
The Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened Wednesday around 7:45 a.m. on US-41 near Erickson Street.
Deputies say Anthony Tiernan, 31, lost control of his Dodge Dakota, which went off the highway, struck a mailbox, then overturned. Officials say the road was ice-covered in spots.
Tiernan was taken to Marquette General Hospital, treated for head and neck injuries, and released.
