Two injured in Ishpeming traffic accident

ISHPEMING, MI - Two people are injured following a two car accident in Ishpeming. According to Ishpeming Police, the accident happened today at about 1pm at the intersection of US-41 and Lake Shore Drive. A westbound Ford F-150, driven by Glen Sirtola of Republic, struck a southbound Cadillac, driven by Judith Harsila of Ishpeming. Harsila and a passenger from Sirtola’s vehicle were taken to Bell Hospital for treatment. Sirtola was cited for failure to yield the right of way in the accident… which remains under investigation.
