Vehicle snaps pole in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Police Department is looking for suspects in a hit-and-run incident at the corner of Fitch Avenue and Center Street Sunday.

Officers say a vehicle drove up and over the curb and struck a utility pole.  The pole broke, knocking down wires.

The vehicle sustained heavy front end passenger-side damage.  It left several parts and fluid at the scene.  Police say it’s silver in color and could be a Pontiac Bonneville.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to call Marquette Police at 228-0400.
