MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Big Bay teen suffered minor injuries in a weekend crash in Marquette County.
Sheriff’s deputies say the accident happened Saturday around 9:17 p.m. The 18-year-old female driver was northbound on County Road 550 just north of Middle Island Point Road when the vehicle left the eastern shoulder of the road, went into the ditch, and hit a power pole.
The driver was taken to Marquette General Hospital with minor injuries.
NMU Public Safety and the Marquette Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
