BREITUNG TOWNSHIP, MI-- One person has been injured in a Dickinson County traffic crash.
State Police from the Iron Mountain Post say the accident happened Saturday around 4:45 p.m. on US-141 and Breitung Avenue in Breitung Township. Troopers say a vehicle driven by Walter Moore, 52, of Iron River was eastbound on Breitung Avenue when Moore failed to stop at the intersection. He collided with a northbound vehicle driven by John Nowicki, 49, of Niagara, Wisconsin.
A passenger in Moore's vehicle was taken to Dickinson County Hospital with unknown injuries.
All involved in the crash were wearing seat belts and alcohol use is not suspected.
Moore was cited for disregarding a traffic control device.
