IRON COUNTY, WI-- An Illinois man has died in a snowmobile accident in Iron County, Wisconsin.
Sheriff’s deputies were called Saturday around 3:25 a.m. to the town of Mercer. They say 46-year-old Timothy W. Litwiller of Milledgeville, IL was riding with a group when his snowmobile left the trail and struck several trees. He was found unresponsive when police arrived.
Officials believe speed and alcohol are factors in the crash.
