MARQUETTE, MI-- A pedestrian was hurt in a three-vehicle accident in downtown Marquette Thursday.
City Police say the crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Washington and Third streets. A green car was stopped on Third, waiting for a woman to cross the street before turning onto Washington, when it was hit from behind by a Marq-Tran bus. The force of crash pushed the green car into the pedestrian, then into another vehicle in the intersection.
The pedestrian was taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The bus driver was found at fault in the accident and ticketed by police.
