Dickinson County man injured in car-deer accident

SAGOLA TOWNSHIP, MI - A Foster City man is injured following a car deer crash in Dickinson County. State Police from the Iron Mountain post say 21-year old Eli Johnson was traveling north on M-95 near Carbis Road in Sagola Township when he struck a deer that ran into the roadway. Johnson was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Troopers say Johnson was wearing his seatbelt and added that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
