ATV crash kills Wisconsin man

AURORA TOWNSHIP, WI--   Speed and alcohol are believed to have been a factor in a fatal ATV accident in Florence County, Wisconsin.

Sheriff’s officials say Tuesday around 6:50 p.m. Jack Wright, 54, of Aurora was eastbound on Fischer Lake Parkway in Aurora Township when he lost control on a curve.  The ATV rolled over, ejecting him.

Wright was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.  Officials say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources continues to investigate the accident.
