Powers man crashes motorcycle in Dickinson County

WAUCEDAH TOWNSHIP, MI--   A Menominee County man has been injured in a motorcycle accident in Dickinson County.

Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post responded Saturday around 7:40 p.m. to County Road G-69 in Waucedah Township.  Investigation determined Mark Kleikamp, 43, of Powers failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, struck a culvert, and was ejected from his bike.  He was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers say Kleikamp was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
