KINROSS TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Sault Ste. Marie man has died in a single-vehicle accident in Chippewa County.
State Police from the Soo Post say the crash happened early Monday morning on the Mackinac Trail south of Tone Road in Kinross Township. Troopers say the vehicle left the roadway and hit a number of trees.
The driver, Dennis Lee Watson III, 26, was found dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
