MARQUETTE, MI-- Two people were injured when a car hit some trees by Marquette’s Lakeview Arena.
The accident happened around 6:30 Tuesday night on Lakeshore Boulevard.
The driver—a 51-year-old Gwinn man—was extricated with the Jaws of Life, but was able to walk to the ambulance. His female passenger was also cut from the vehicle and removed from the scene on a stretcher. Officials say they suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was cited for careless driving.
