TAPIOLA, MI-- A Pelkie woman is hospitalized, after her car crashed into a logging truck in Tapiola.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says Wednesday morning a truck driven by a 60-year-old Pelkie man was southbound on Tapiola Road when a car driven by a 72-year-old woman pulled out from Karvakko’s Market in front of him.
The woman was taken to Baraga County Memorial Hospital, then transferred to UP Health System Marquette. Her condition is unknown at this time.
