SAULT STE. MARIE, MI-- State Police from the Sault Ste. Marie Post have released the identities of those involved in a fatal crash in Soo Township last Friday.
Jared Baragwanath, 19, of Brimley was the driver of a vehicle that was northbound on Mackinac Trail around 9 p.m. His vehicle was struck head-on by a southbound vehicle driven by Stacy Linklater, 23, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Baragwanath was taken to U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, where he died of his injuries Sunday morning.
Linklater was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, causing death.
The crash remains under investigation.
