Man struck, killed by vehicle on road in northeastern Wisconsin

MARINETTE, WI (AP)--   A 24-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle on a road in northeastern Wisconsin.

The Marinette County Sheriff's Office says the crash was reported early Sunday on a county highway near the border with Oconto County.

Investigators say the man, from Crooked Lake, was struck in the eastbound lane by an eastbound vehicle driven by a 51-year-old woman from Crivitz.

The victim died at the scene. The driver was not hurt.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.
