MARQUETTE, MI-- Two Marquette residents were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a rollover accident on US-41 South.
Marquette Police say it happened Sunday around 7:25 p.m. near Tonti Road. A 22-year-old man was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle. It overturned and came to rest on its roof near the shoulder.
The driver was able to get out, but his 18-year-old female passenger had to be extricated by the Marquette City Fire Department. Both were taken to UPHS Marquette for treatment of their injuries.
The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
