Gladstone ATV crash injures woman

GLADSTONE, MI--   An Ishpeming woman has been injured in an ATV accident in Gladstone. 

Public Safety says it happened Saturday around 9 p.m. behind Cameron School near the water tower.  The 33-year-old driver was riding when another ATV cut in front of her.  Although there was no contact between the two machines the woman swerved and lost control.  Her ATV was totaled. 

The woman was taken to OSF St. Francis hospital with a fractured left shoulder blade.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
