CHAMPION TOWNSHIP, MI-- Wintry weather Thursday produced several traffic accidents, including one near Champion.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched around 12:50 p.m. to US-41 near Keystone Hill in Champion Township. Deputies say Grace Hildabrant, 18, of Marquette was heading east when she lost control of her vehicle. It slid into the ditch and came to rest on its side.
Hildabrant was taken to UPHS-Bell with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was found to be at fault for the accident, but was not cited.
