MCSO seeks truck involved in 3-vehicle accident

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a vehicle involved in a Marquette Township crash over the weekend.

Deputies say Saturday at 2:15 p.m. a pickup truck pulled out onto US-41 from Northwoods Road by Gander Mountain.  That forced a Subaru driven by Eric Shapiro of Ishpeming to move into the center turn lane and strike a sedan driven by Kathleen Lintula of Eben Junction, which was waiting to turn into the Menards parking lot.

A passenger in the Shapiro vehicle suffered minor injuries.  Lintula wasn’t injured.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding an older Ford F-150 navy blue truck with silver accents and a cap on the back.  A piece of cardboard blocks the front grille.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 225-8435.
