Ishpeming fatal ATV accident

An Ishpeming man is dead following an ATV accident in Ishpeming Township. According to WLUC-TV, 29-year old Ryan Helstein was riding his ATV in a wooded area east of Balsam Lane Sunday when his vehicle overturned, pinning him underneath. Emergency personnel were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead-at-the-scene. Police say speed was a contributing factor in the accident… which remains under investigation.
