MARENISCO TOWNSHIP, MI--   Two people are injured, following a single-vehicle crash in Gogebic County.

Sheriff’s officials say it happened Monday at 4:40 a.m. on M-64 near Bingham Bay. The driver of a southbound vehicle lost control, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The collision ignited a fire, but a passerby was able to help get the driver and passenger out before the vehicle was consumed.

Joshua Robinson, 28, of Core, West Virginia and Donna Kossman, 29, of White Pine were taken to Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
