Cedarville accident claims woman's life

CEDARVILLE, MI--   A Cedarville woman has been killed in a work-related accident.

WLUC-TV says the incident happened early Saturday morning at the Carmeuse Lime and Stone facility on M-134 in Cedarville.

Troopers from the St. Ignace and Sault Ste. Marie Posts responded to the scene. They say two Carmeuse vehicles were involved in an accident in the pit.

Jill Klein, 44, of Cedarville was killed in the accident.

Michigan State Police continue to investigate the incident.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
