ADAMS TOWNSHIP, MI-- The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the driver of a pickup that crashed in Adams Township Monday night.
Around 7 p.m. deputies responded to the scene on Erickson Drive near Old Mill Hill Road and found the truck had hit a power pole. The driver fled the scene.
Upper Peninsula Power Company worked to restore service to the area.
North Erickson Drive was closed for a time from M-26 to Atlantic Avenue.
Deputies were assisted by Michigan State Police and the Houghton County Road Commission.
