NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A septic truck was involved in a two-vehicle accident in Negaunee Township Wednesday.
Sheriff’s deputies say it happened just before 2 p.m. on Research Drive. They say Patrick McLaughlin was driving a North Country Disposal truck and pulling a trailer when he lost control on the slippery roadway. The truck hit a Chevy Cruze driven by Indi Soronen of Gwinn. Both vehicles suffered significant damage.
Soronen was taken to UPHS-Bell for evaluation. McLaughlin was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
