COVINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Baraga County man has been killed in an accident involving a tractor.
Michigan State Police from the Calumet Post were called Monday around 3:20 p.m. to a residence in Covington Township. They say Thomas Disney, 84, was trying to free a vehicle stuck on his property with a tractor when he fell off and became trapped under it. Disney was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Baraga County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Natural Resources, Bay EMS, Covington EMS, Covington First Responders, the L’Anse Fire Department, and Covington Fire and Rescue.A Baraga County man has been killed in an accident involving a tractor.
