Victims of Sault crash identified

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   The names of those involved in a fatal crash in Chippewa County have been released.

It happened Monday around 2:20 a.m. on northbound I-75 near 6 Mile Road. Deputies say Kole Rabb, 22, of Kalamazoo was driving and may have fallen asleep at the wheel. The vehicle hit the median and rolled several times.

Rabb was taken to War Memorial Hospital, where he remains with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The passenger in the vehicle, Stacy Lynn Hough, 27, was killed in the crash.

Deputies say Rabb and Hough were a couple returning from an Easter visit downstate.

The accident remains under investigation.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
