EAGLE HARBOR, MI— A snowmobiler was taken to the hospital after a crash in Keweenaw County Thursday.
The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched around 5 p.m. to Trail 3 at the intersection of Brockway Mountain Drive in Eagle Harbor.
Officials say a 51-year-old Wisconsin man was southbound when he lost control of his snowmobile. The driver was taken to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital for treatment.
Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
