DICKINSON COUNTY, MI— One person is dead, after a vehicle crashed into a house in Dickinson County Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched around 10:40 p,m, to County Road 581 near Wickman Marsh Road. A Chevy Silverado was northbound when it left the road, rolled over several times, and hit a house.

The driver—the sole occupant of the vehicle—had to be extricated by emergency personnel. They were airlifted to UPHS-Marquette, where they later died of injures sustained in the crash.

Only one person was inside the home at the time of the accident. They were not injured, but the house was severely damaged.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
