Authorities looking for suspect vehicle in Marquette hit and run

MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision.

The incident happened Saturday, May 28 around 2:40 p.m. on the 200 block of Washington Street.

The suspect vehicle is a tan or gray Chevy Silverado extended cab pickup. It has a sticker outline of the Upper Peninsula on the upper left corner of the rear window, an unknown sticker in the top center of the rear window, and a light bar on the roof.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or the vehicle is asked to contact the Marquette Police at 906-228-0400, or send a private Facebook message.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
