Fatal crash reported in Powers

POWERS, MI— A Wisconsin man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Menominee County.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Tuesday just before noon to an accident on US-2 & 41 in the Village of Powers. A passenger in the vehicle, Joshua Hardin, 32, of Plymouth, Wisconsin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.

Witnesses with information related to the crash, including businesses with possible video of the accident, are asked to contact the Menominee County Sheriff's Office at 906-863-4441.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
