IRON RIVER TOWNSHIP, MI— A single-vehicle crash in Iron County has claimed the life of one person.
Michigan State Police from the Iron Mountain Post responded Wednesday around 5:10 p.m. to Gibbs City Road in Iron River Township. The 68-year-old male driver was treated at the scene by first responders, but later died of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Iron River Police Department, West Iron County Fire Department, Iron County Search and Rescue, and Aspirus Ambulance.
