Police seeking witnesses to Spalding Township fatal crash

SPALDING TOWNSHIP, MI— The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a fatal traffic crash in Spalding Township.

It happened Friday around 8:20 a.m. on US-2 and 41 and County Road 400.

A 58-year-old Perronville woman was killed in the head-on crash. Additional occupants from both vehicles were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 906-863-4441. Information may also be reported anonymously through the Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee County Facebook page or through the Crime Stoppers mobile tip app.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
