Truck trailer rolls over in Marquette, fuel spilled

MARQUETTE, MI— About 30 gallons of diesel fuel had to be cleaned up from the US-41 and Front Street roundabout Monday, after a flatbed trailer overturned in Marquette.

A westbound semi was hauling the trailer, which was carrying a piece of equipment when it rolled on its side. The equipment leaked the fuel. Officials covered it with sand to contain it.

Traffic was detoured from the roundabout as cleanup efforts took place.

No injuries were reported.
