Niagara motorcycle accident injures riders

NIAGARA, WI— Two people were injured in Niagara, Wisconsin Saturday in a motorcycle accident.

The Niagara Police Department says the incident occurred around 6 p.m. Two motorcycles were seen traveling northbound through the city, passing vehicles at a high rate of speed. One of the motorcycles failed to negotiate a curve on Main Street near 4th Street and crashed into some woods.

The occupants of the motorcycle were not wearing safety equipment and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Marshfield Clinic-Dickinson for treatment.

Assisting at the scene were the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Niagara Fire Department, and Integrity Paramedics. Citizens at the scene helped the injured riders and directed traffic until officials arrived.
